DJ and I usually go hit up the Dollar Tree stores together but on this particular day, I was sick and stood home from work and well, she was in school. I headed to the pharmacy to grab my script and decided to head to Dollar Tree which is only about a 15 minute walk from my house. We find some great books and in true book nerd fashion, we always let you guys know. Dollar Tree has aome hidden gems in there.

The first book was Invisibility by Andrea Cremer and David Levithan. This retails on Amazon for $9.99 and I got it for $1.00! I scored the hardcover so I'm excited about that.

Here's a quick synopsis on the book:
Stephen is used to invisibility. He was born that way. Invisible. Cursed. Elizabeth sometimes wishes for invisibility. When you’re invisible, no one can hurt you. So when her mother decides to move the family to New York City, Elizabeth is thrilled. It’s easy to blend in there. Then Stephen and Elizabeth meet. To Stephen’s amazement, she can see him. And to Elizabeth’s amazement, she wants him to be able to see her—all of her. But as the two become closer, an invisible world gets in their way—a world of grudges and misfortunes, spells and curses. And once they’re thrust into this world, Elizabeth and Stephen must decide how deep they’re going to go—because the answer could mean the difference between love and death.

The second book was Choker by Elizabeth Woods. This hardcover retails on Amazon for $15.37 and I got it for $1.00!

Quick synopsis of the book:
Zoe and Cara were as close as friends could be—until Zoe moved away in fourth grade. Miserable without Zoe, Cara grew into an unhappy sixteen-year-old, tormented by the popular girls and nursing a hopeless crush. Then one day Cara returns home from a miserable day at school to find Zoe sitting on her bed. Shocked and delighted, Cara agrees to hide Zoe from troubles at home and the two resume their friendship as though no time has passed. Zoe even helps Cara get up the courage to stand up for herself and talk to her crush. But when one of the popular girls winds up dead, Cara begins to suspect that Zoe is responsible, and her questions only feed Zoe’s anger. As Cara searches for answers, she is forced to confront a deadly truth….

The final book I found was Two Truths and a Lie (The Lying Game, No. 3) by Sara Shepard. THis hardcover retails for $13.99 and again, I got it for $1.00! This book is book #3 in the The Lying game series. This just means I will now have to buy the entire series - I've been wanting to buy it and this just validated my choice.

Quick synopsis of the book:
My killer is out there.
And my sister might be next.
Two months before I died, my best friend's brother disappeared. I have no idea where Thayer went or why he left, but I know it's my fault. I did a lot of horrible things while I was alive, things that made people hate me, maybe even enough to kill me.
Desperate to solve my murder, my long-lost twin, Emma, is pretending to be me and unraveling the many mysteries I left behind—my cryptic journal, my tangled love life, the dangerous Lying Game pranks I played. She's uncovered my friends' darkest secrets, but she's never had the chance to dig into Thayer's past—until now.
Thayer's back and Emma has to move fast to figure out if he's after revenge . . . or if he's already gotten it.
